When we produce, we use high-strength wear-resistant alloy materials, and the surface is specially hardened to ensure the structural stability under high-frequency friction, and it is adapted to different specifications of rods and tubes. There is no need for additional adjustment for installation, and it can be directly inserted and fixed, which is convenient for operation.
Standard sucker rod centralizer is based on flexible adaptation and adsorption fixation as the core, and consists of a sleeve body and a suction cup assembly. The sliding sleeve can slide slightly along the axial direction of the sucker rod, and the suction cup fits closely with the inner wall of the tubing through the downhole pressure, which not only realizes righting, but also cushions the axial vibration. Compared with the rigid support of spiral sucker rod centralizer, the sliding sleeve structure pays attention to dynamic adaptation, and the support position can be adjusted in real time with the trajectory of the sucker rod to avoid local stress concentration. The sealing performance of the suction cup can also reduce the entry of underground impurities and extend the service life.

In terms of applicable scenarios, spiral sucker rod centralizer is more suitable for high-load, straight or small slope wells. The rigid structure can withstand large radial pressure. The spiral sucker rod centralizer is prone to local wear and tear too quickly, and its sleeve structure can be flexibly adjusted. The suction cup always fits the inner wall of the tubing, even in horizontal wells with large slopes, direct contact with the pipe can be avoided. At present, our standard sucker rod centralizer has been widely used in horizontal well projects in Shengli Oilfield, and its adaptability and stability have been recognized by customers.
In terms of performance characteristics, spiral sucker rod centralizer has the advantages of high support strength, long service life, low maintenance costs, rigid structure is not easily affected by impurities, wear-resistant materials reduce the frequency of replacement, and it is suitable for long-term continuous mining; however, it has weak adaptability to well-shaped trajectories and is prone to excessive local stress in large-slope wells.
Standard sucker rod centralizer has strong dynamic adaptability, good cushioning effect, and wide well type compatibility, which can cope with the needs of complex well type movement and reduce vibration damage; however, the sliding sleeve and suction cup have high material sealing requirements. In oil fields with many corrosive media, regular inspections and maintenance are required to ensure adsorption and sealing performance.
