Sucker rod pump oil production is the most widely used oil production method at present. The working process of sucker rod pump is to use oil pipe to lower the pump barrel of deep well pump to below the liquid level in the well, install suction valve (fixed valve) at the bottom of the pump barrel, and use sucker rod to lower plunger into the pump barrel, and install discharge valve (floating valve) on plunger. The up and down reciprocating linear motion generated by the donkey head suspension point of the pumping unit is transmitted to the pumping unit through the sucker rod to pump oil upward.
The pumping unit is the main ground equipment for conventional sucker rod pump oil production. According to its basic structure, it can be divided into beam pumping unit and beamless pumping unit:
(1) Beam pumping unit. The beam pumping unit mainly consists of four parts: beam-connecting rod-crank mechanism, belt and reduction box, power equipment and auxiliary devices. Its working process is: the electric motor (or natural gas engine) on the ground pumping unit transmits the high-speed rotational motion to the reduction box through the transmission belt, and then the crank connecting rod mechanism changes the rotational motion into the up and down motion of the walking beam. The rope reel hanging on the donkey head is connected to the sucker rod, and the sucker rod drives the plunger of the downhole pump to move up and down through the sucker rod, thereby pumping crude oil to the ground. After years of development and improvement, my country has successively developed a variety of walking beam pumping units, including front-mounted type, out-of-phase type, rotating donkey head type, large wheel type, six-rod double walking beam, double donkey head pumping units, etc.
(2) Beamless pumping units. There are many types of beamless pumping units, mainly to reduce the weight of the pumping unit, expand the scope of use of the equipment and improve its technical and economic indicators. Most of them are characterized by long stroke and low stroke, which are suitable for deep well and heavy oil well production. Beamless pumping units are divided into mechanical beamless pumping units and hydraulic beamless pumping units.
